Tae Kwon Do–RRES 200
Tae Kwon Do is an effective way to unify the mind and body. It helps develop one’s health by increasing cardiovascular abilities, strength, balance and flexibility. The basics of blocking, punching, kicking, self-defense and white belt form will be covered. Class will consist of practicing these skills as a group, working with other classmates and the instructor one-on-one. At the end of the semester, students will have the option to be tested for their orange belt.

Women’s Self Defense–RRES 200
This course takes an holistic approach to self-defense, emphasizing both physical and psychological strategies. This class is designed to improve your awareness, personal safety, and self-confidence. Each class is designed to deal with a different setting such as dating issues, walking alone, car crimes, and home protection. Students will learn basic martial arts skills including jujitsu. No prior martial arts experiences are required. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.
